The store stocks a range of well-known brands, including Champion and Amazon Essentials. It also sells Levi's and Adidas, as well as Kendall & Kylie and BB Dakota. It also has special edition collections curated by influential people.

One of our experts, Vargas, was a big fan of the Prettygarden collection that she describes as "like the perfect blend of professional and feminine." She saw a lot of pretty, romantic pieces that would be perfect for summer brunches or bridal showers, while Laudort loved the brand's sleek blazer dresses and jumpsuits with gorgeous details like lace or bows.

Neil Saunders of GlobalData was less than thrilled. He said that although the store was innovating, it was lacking perspective and was "too complicated." Saunders added that he believes Amazon is still committed to brick-and-mortar retail, but that its decision to shut down its bookstores and 4-Star stores shows that Amazon is focussed on what is most important to consumers.
